At Lincoln Park Presbyterian Church,

we are committed to living the open, inclusive, affirming

and compassionate love of Jesus Christ.

We work for peace in the world.

We strive for justice with love, and transformation in our community and beyond.

We broaden our impact by collaborating with partners across the City.

With God’s help, we can co-create a better future for all.

Lincoln Park Presbyterian Church was formed in 1966 by the merger of the Fullerton and Christ Presbyterian Churches. The Fullerton Church was itself the result of a merger in 1932 of the Fullerton Avenue and Covenant Presbyterian Churches.

These predecessor churches, with roots dating back to 1843, ministered for many generations, surviving the Chicago Fire, the Great Depression, and many cultural changes.

The congregation has a long and strong history of service and working for social justice in church and society. LPPC was one of the founding churches of Chicago’s Night Ministry, has sponsored Southeast Asian refugees, participates annually in the CROP Walk, and helped start and currently houses the Lincoln Park Community Services for the Homeless among many other activities over the years.
